Praise in the Park

Praise in the Park is a community worship and prayer gathering with live music and the opportunity to encounter God’s peace, healing, and love. Music is provided by worship teams from the Father’s House of Prayer and other area ministries.

During a day of corporate prayer, we felt that God was leading us to bring worship outside of the four walls of our building and into the heart of our community. God showed us that as we exalt Jesus in worship, people would experience His peace, relief and healing.

“Sing to the Lord, bless (affectionately praise) His name; show forth His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples.”
Psalm 96:2-3 (AMP)

As passionate, praying worshipers, we want to see the people in our area set free from bondage, addiction, and trauma. The heart of the Lord is to see people come to know His love and truth, and this is what we want to be a part of in our region.

Praise in the Park is held during Spring and Summer months in downtown Sylva’s Bridge Park at the Pavilion. Bridge Park is located off of Mill Street (Back Street), which runs parallel to Main Street. Parking is available on both sides of the Park near the Pavilion.

Below are a few prayer points we want to pray for during Praise in the Park.

  • Pray for many to be saved, healed, and set free through Jesus’ love and truth.
  • Pray for the presence of God to change the atmosphere of our city and region.
  • Pray for God to bring His peace, giving people a calm, sound mind free of all fear.
  • Pray for the Body of Christ to unite in exalting Jesus in worship that many may be drawn to Him.

We’ve received wonderful testimonies of people being saved, healed and experiencing the peace of God! If you are interested in donating specifically for our Praise in the Park gatherings, or have a testimony to share from one of the gatherings, please send us a message.
